Pricing questions
- Do I need a card to try Sitebook?
- No. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial and no card is required. You only enter payment details if you decide to continue.
- What happens to my records if I stop paying?
- You keep read access to everything — clients, quotes, invoices and especially your Certificate of Compliance records. A lapsed subscription stops you creating new records; it never locks you out of documents you already have.
- Is Sitebook only for electricians?
- Sitebook is built for South African electricians first, because the Certificate of Compliance workflow is specific to that trade. Other trades can use the quoting and invoicing side, but the compliance features are electrical.
- Is VAT included in the price?
- Hybridio (Pty) Ltd is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on a Sitebook subscription and the advertised price is what you pay. If we register for VAT later we will tell subscribers before it affects what they pay.
- What happens if I change plan part-way through?
- Moving to a larger plan takes effect straight away. Moving to a smaller one is scheduled for when your current period ends, so you are never charged twice or made to forfeit time you have already paid for. You can cancel a scheduled change before it starts, and when it does take effect you are asked to complete payment rather than being charged automatically.
- Can my clients pay through Sitebook?
- Your invoices carry your EFT banking details and, if you have one, your payment link. Sitebook does not sit between you and your money — payments go directly to your account.
- Where is my data stored?
- In a managed PostgreSQL database with row-level security, so each account can only read its own records. Sitebook processes client data on your behalf under POPIA; see the privacy policy for detail.
- How do I get my data out?
- Email us and we will export your clients, quotes, invoices and CoC records. Your records are yours.
