1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of Sitebook, operated by Hybridio (Pty) Ltd (“we”). By creating an account you agree to them. They are governed by South African law.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Each plan permits a set number of users — 1 on Solo, 3 on Small Team and 8 on Growth. You must give accurate information when you sign up.
3. Trial and billing
- New accounts get a 14-day free trial. No card is required to start it, and it does not convert to a paid plan automatically — you choose a plan when you are ready.
- Paid plans start at R399 per month and are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in South African rand. Hybridio (Pty) Ltd is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on your subscription. If that changes we will tell you before it affects what you pay.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part-used periods.
- Changing plan works one of two ways. Moving to a larger plan takes effect immediately and is charged in full on the day. Moving to a smaller plan is scheduled instead: you stay on your current plan until the period you have already paid for runs out, and the smaller plan starts then. We do this so that changing plan never costs you time you have already paid for. You can cancel a scheduled change at any point before it takes effect. When it does take effect you will be asked to complete payment for the new plan — we do not charge your card for a plan you chose weeks earlier without asking again.
- If a payment fails, your account continues in full for seven days while you sort it out. After that you cannot create new records, but you keep read access to everything you have.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
4. Your data
Your records remain yours. We process them to provide the service and in line with our privacy policy. You can ask us for an export at any time, including after cancelling.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter — including the content of quotes, invoices and Certificate of Compliance records, and for holding the registrations that entitle you to issue a certificate.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Sitebook to break the law, to send unsolicited bulk email, to store anything you have no right to store, or to attempt to access another account's data. We may suspend an account for serious or repeated breaches.
6. Availability
We work to keep Sitebook available and take regular backups, but we do not offer a guaranteed uptime figure and deliberately do not publish one we cannot commit to. The service is provided as is.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by South African law, our total liability arising from your use of Sitebook is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost business. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.
8. Compliance documents
Sitebook records and stores Certificate of Compliance information you enter. It does not issue certificates, verify their validity, or constitute legal or regulatory advice. Responsibility for compliant electrical work and correctly issued certificates remains yours.
9. Ending the agreement
You may cancel at any time from your settings. We may end the agreement on reasonable notice, or immediately for a serious breach. If we end it without cause, we will refund the unused part of your period.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify subscribers by email before they take effect.
